BrewLedger is an operations platform for breweries. It's brewery management software designed to be used with as little overhead and forced training time as possible, and to keep a reliable, non-confusing snapshot of your brewery.
The Ledger
BrewLedger's core principle is its Ledger—an immutable (read and add only, no deleting) record of everything that happens in your brewery. This is how inventory amounts, expectations, and more get tracked. If you make a mistake somewhere, or find less malt than you thought, BrewLedger can help show you exactly where it did—or didn't—go.
Everything Is Interconnected
Every action flows through the Ledger: receiving updates inventory, creating a batch consumes ingredients, packaging records depletion. Add something to a batch and it's automatically deducted from inventory—everything stays in sync. This interconnected design is a key feature to understand, particularly around batch management: adding something to a batch consumes it from inventory, thus keeping everything in line and up to date on record.
The Mobile App
BrewLedger's second half is its iOS and Android app, which allows you to do many of the same operations you'd do on the desktop, but live in your day-to-day. The app integrates seamlessly with the desktop and stores its record-keeping offline, re-syncing when you come back online. You can do inventory audits or receive shipments with no internet connection and have no issues.
